It's always a little disconcerting when your body produces something that is seemingly unnatural. Then you can't help but look at your bodily produced horror with sick fascination and wonder just how it was it came to be.
Or maybe it's just me?

HM - that's me too..
ReplyDeleteOne particular time was after I needed my nose re-set as a result of a sport related injury, let's just say the sorts of stuff that came out of the nose (excluding the stitches) could only be described as unnatural and I did indeed look on with sick fascination..
What helped the looking was dr's orders to do sinus washes 2-3 times a day.....
That. Would. Have. Been. AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteWas there prodding? I bet there was.
I once tried to burst the boil in my ear with a paper towel wrapped chopstick. Only it turned out my ear was inflamed ... not packing a boil.
I heard the sick stuff siren. But it was a lure to the rocks...
Awesome it definitely was..
ReplyDeleteI still remember looking at some of the stuff that came out, and wondered why when we blow our noses it didn't come out like that and thanks to the sinus rinsing there was no need to prod. However when the stitches started to dissolve, at times an end of the stitch would make an appearance out of the nostril. That would be got rid of before I left the house, but it was an interesting sight to behold and an interesting sensation when trying to get rid of the end of stitches that hadn't properly dissolved.
But there was this one sinus wash, talk about un-freaking-believable, a golden ball of nose stuff slid out and graced the basin - it was like a gold medal for sinus rinsing.. I'm sure if the creators of Street Fighter trully wanted something interesting, they could have had golden balls shooting out of charactors noses, rather than the different types of balls that came out of their hands.
And that was just for this one time...
Wowsers. That's totally cool.
ReplyDeleteI fully love the nose gold and I wholeheartedly embrace nasally delivered treasures across all gaming platforms.
