A conversation with a chemist girl

I just got served by a make up infested chemist shop girl. She was wearing a 'I (heart) Palmers' shirt.

Me - 'What's Palmers?'

Girl - 'It's a brand.'

Me - 'Oh. I thought it was the Palmers family. As in Robert Palmer. He's dead now ... simply decomposing.'

Girl - (no reaction).

Oh come on. Simply decomposing is gold...

  2. I can picture the look of sheer uncomprehension combined with a touch of incompetence on her face now.

    ahhh good humour.
it's wasted on the youth of today.

    word verification: slyperc!

    example:
Margaret like to purchase the cheaper 'Own brand' biscuits, take them to work, and swap them with the more expensive Custard Creams. She thought of it as a Slyperc of the job.
